Mental health in schools: an introduction to mental health leadership
Part of a series of free webinars on mental health leadership in educational settings
Available to watch on demand
In this free webinar on Thursday 20 October 2022, we explored the role school leaders can play in ensuring good mental health and wellbeing – for children, young people and staff.
Our speakers shared the eight principles behind implementing a whole school approach to mental health, the NICE recommendations for social, emotional and mental wellbeing support in schools (SEMH), and guidelines for supporting mental health in educational settings. They provided helpful insights during an audience Q&A and provided helpful links and answers to get you started on your journey to a healthier and happier school or college.
